Red Stands of Colorado Kennels is a proud kennel. We are committed to improving conformation and genetics in the Red and Black Standard Poodle breed.

My Love for Poodles Started with a very sweet loving woman that worked for me. Her love of poodles made me fall for the breed. Today I own four Standard Poodles and wouldn't trade them for anything! Thank you Kim, wherever you are. We love and miss you very much.

The Origin of Bootlegger

(Sire) Harmony Mt. Bootlegger Of Gold is our stud for our Red Standard program. It was instant love, Bootlegger has been extremely smart in the hunting aspects for his breed. Jim Owens, of Vail is his trainer. Jim adores Bootlegger. His mother, Harmony Mt. Cedar, was going for her Senior Hunting Title, but do to complications of delivering puppies, she Is now at her owners beckon call... Bootlegger will not stop until he reaches his masters. He promised Jim and I that! :)

Moonshine

(Damsel) Introducing Redstands of Colorado's Ruby Moonshine. She is our Apricot/Red damsel. Her nick name is.Mooney. You couldn't ask for a better girl. She reminds so many people of a little flower-child. Moonshine is very much a mother, even to humans. She looks like a big girl and has a very thick, healthy coat. Unfortunately, She can't show hunt. Moonshine came off the plane with a sever broken foot and toes. The veterinarians wanted to amputate her back right foot, but she fooled everyone by not needing the surgery! Moonshine has a very womanish walk to her. It's a slow, southern style. We love our Mooney! She and Bootlegger make a great pair. Everyone loves to watch them chase game together. They have developed a system.

Harmony

Harmony Mt. cast a spell on me. Harmony is a Great-Great Granddaughter of CH Aladiana's Cast A Spell Galore, TP. We have high hopes of our girl! She is all that... We're growing her coat and waiting for the Rose within her to blossom. She has a personality that I have never seen before. We are very bonded. Everyone talks about how intelligent their dog is, well Harmony is ALL that!
